1. Identity and address of the data controller

IEMSA Empaques, S.A. de C.V., with Federal Taxpayer Registry (RFC) IEM250829BS6 and address at Calle Real de Sevilla 192, Fracc. Los Reales, C.P. 25253, Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico ("IEMSA" or the "Controller"), is responsible for the processing of your personal data, in accordance with this Privacy Notice and the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares).

2. Personal data subject to processing

When you use the quote request form on this website, IEMSA collects: first name, last name, the name of the company you represent (if applicable), phone number, and email address. The form also collects the product you are interested in, the approximate quantity requested, and an optional free-text message, as part of your request.

3. Sensitive personal data

The form available on this website does not request sensitive personal data. Users are asked to refrain from including this type of data in the form's free-text message field. In the event that IEMSA were to receive sensitive information not necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, it will take reasonable measures not to use it and will proceed to delete or block it, as applicable.

4. Purposes of processing

Your personal data is used exclusively to:

• Contact the person making the request.
• Respond to your request for information or a quote.
• Prepare and send the corresponding quote.
• Follow up on the request and the quote.

IEMSA does not use this data for advertising, promotions, newsletters, unsolicited commercial prospecting, or to build profiles for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Use of technology providers

To operate the contact form and store the requests received, IEMSA uses technology providers necessary to provide this service. IEMSA currently uses technology services provided by Wix.com Ltd. and/or its affiliates. These providers process the information solely for the purpose of providing their services to IEMSA, in accordance with their own applicable terms and agreements. IEMSA does not sell your personal data nor allow these providers to use it for their own commercial purposes.

6. Transfers and communication of data

IEMSA does not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties for their own commercial purposes. IEMSA may disclose personal data when required by a competent authority or when necessary to comply with an applicable legal obligation.

7. Retention, blocking, and deletion

Your personal data will be retained only for the time necessary to process your quote request and fulfill the purposes described in this Notice. Once no longer necessary for such purposes, it will be blocked and, where applicable, deleted, unless there is a legal or contractual obligation, or the need to address potential liabilities that justifies its retention for an additional period.

8. Options and means to limit use or disclosure

You may request at any time that IEMSA limit the use or disclosure of your personal data by writing to administracion@iemsamx.com, indicating your name and the data for which you are requesting the limitation.

9. Revocation of consent

You may revoke, at any time, the consent you have given for the processing of your personal data by sending your request to administracion@iemsamx.com. Revocation will take effect in accordance with the Law, without prejudice to quote requests that have already been processed.

10. ARCO Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: to know the personal data held by IEMSA and the conditions of its processing.
• Rectification: to correct your personal data when it is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
• Cancellation: to request the cancellation of your personal data at any time, subject to prior blocking and the legally applicable exceptions.
• Opposition: to request the cessation of the processing of your personal data in the cases provided by the Law.

11. Procedure and requirements for exercising ARCO rights

To exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, or Opposition, you may send your request to administracion@iemsamx.com. IEMSA's Administration department is responsible for processing requests related to personal data.

Your request must contain, at minimum:

1. The data subject's name and address or another means to receive notifications.
2. Documents proving your identity and, if applicable, the identity and authority of whoever acts on your behalf.
3. A clear and precise description of the personal data with respect to which you are exercising the corresponding right, except in the case of the right of access.
4. A description of the right you wish to exercise or of your request.
5. Any other element or document that facilitates locating your personal data.

When the request seeks the rectification of personal data, it must also indicate the specific modification requested and provide supporting documentation, where applicable.

12. Response times

IEMSA will respond to your request within a maximum period of 20 business days, counted from the date of its receipt. If deemed appropriate, the request will be fulfilled within the following 15 business days from the date the response is communicated to you. These periods may be extended once, for an equal period, when the particular circumstances of the case justify it, and are subject to the other exceptions applicable under the Law.

13. Data protection authority

If you believe your request was not handled in accordance with the Law, or that your data protection rights were not duly respected, you have the right to file a complaint with the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno.

14. Changes to this Privacy Notice

Any changes to this Notice will be made known to the data subject through its publication at /en/privacy-notice. We recommend checking this page periodically to stay informed about how your personal data is processed.

15. Cookies and similar technologies

This website may use technologies necessary for its operation provided by the technology platform. Specific information about cookies and similar technologies will be updated in accordance with the site's actual configuration.
